That whole thing that I talk about sometimes, about not having the right words, or not having enough words, or not enough breath or breathing space for words, or something to that effect? That doesn’t apply to video of me using my words, and especially not to video of me using my words last summer (when the interview with me was shot) and this past December (when the images – of our loft, of us in our loft, of Jasper climbing a bookshelf to get a woodsaw – don’t ask – in our loft – were shot). Which is to say, it doesn’t apply to this:
The background story on the video, you can find over at Bad Mother Confidential. The foreground story is, I still believe in blogging – and mom blogging – in exactly the ways that I describe in this video. As I just do, sometimes. Because this stuff that we do, it’s powerful. Let’s never forget.
(You see how this post is on my Intel Digital Life page? That’s because I wrote it with my Intel hat on, which is totally a little foil beanie that receives satellite transmissions from the galaxy of AWESOME. Or something. Anyway, it’s part of the series that you see here, on this humble page, about living la vida digital, which is also part of this whole storytelling exercise over here, on Facebook. You should check it out.)
